Magipics: bridging science and art
Magipics is an Australian producer of high quality multimedia content including 2D and 3D animation, illustration and music production, mostly in the areas of nature, medicine, nanotechnology, biotechnology, instruction, engineering, simulation, character animation and full dome presentations.
The owner and director of Magipics, Mats Björklund, has a PhD in Medicine/Biotechnology from Monash University in Melbourne Australia, and he brings his solid scientific knowledge base to his work. His client list is dominated by scientific, biomedical, technological and educational organisations.

All aspects of each project, from the concept art and storyboarding to the finished product are handled in-house, skillfully combining scientific accuracy with artistic style.
The products are designed for delivery on a range of media, including DVD, video, over the Internet, and integrated into PowerPoint and other presentations. Audio, ranging from sound effects to music composition, recording and editing is also readily handled.
